| My friends, it is time for me to regail you of my super-exciting life again. I always space out my updates so much that I have like a million pictures to put up. They're almost all from Christmas break (only a couple weeks late) which was such a good time. Here's what I did...
Two of my best friends, Sylvia and Matt, got married. They're young (20), but totally ready for this after being together for 4 years. The wedding was beautiful, romantic, crazy, fun, and memorable.
Sylvia's bachelorette party. We went dancing in downtown Dallas with the girls.
Matt and Sylvia at the rehersal dinner
At the alter
First dance as husband and wife. I think the song was called "Besame Mucho"
The cake was sooo good. It was a Mexican cake, dos leches
Me and Mom
Dancin the night away
Sylvia, me, and Rachel at the reception
After the limo took the newlyweds to their destination, it came back to take the bridesmaids and groomsmen for a ride around town
The next week I went back to work at Parker Uniforms. Several of my friends from the summer were there too, so we had a lot of fun "working" together. We learned how to crochet!
Me, Lauren, Kathleen, and Grace in the stock room
I saw a lot of good friends from highschool. It had been way too long since I'd seen them, and I won't see them again for a while. Went to IHOP a couple of times, once with PCA friends and once with Rachel and Mark. I got to see Rachie M. too! I really can't get enough of all of them. And my family was all together for a quiet Christmas together. I miss them all A LOT!
Deb, Trish, and me made took pretty strange videos and pictures that night, but here's a nice one.
Me and Mark by my Christmas tree at home. He's a beast!
Me and my beautiful sister, Laura, in front of the tree too!
My mom made our family a nice Christmas Eve Eve dinner, so we decided to get all fancied up for her.
And my last week of the break was spent in style! I went on a cruise...but not just for fun...as a nanny...for 6-year-old...triplets...and one of them is blind. Their aunt got married on the beach on the Cayman Islands, one of the stops the ship made. But it wasn't just me with the three of them. Rachel was there too, and we were happy to give their parents time to enjoy themselves and get some much needed time without the kids. It was hard. Kids throw fits, complain, wet the bed, and get up really really early, but love you soooo much too. So, I know it was well worth it. Here's some pictures of Rachel, me, the triplets (James, Mason, and Kylie), their cousin Scott, and their family. As you can see, we really got into taking pictures on the balcony, overlooking the ocean....

And since I've been back to school I've already taken a road trip. I went to see Heather in Paragould, AR with Carol, Kristina, and Brandon. We rode 4-wheelers (my first time ever), ate some good home cookin', saw a couple of good chick flicks, and spent some crazy-fun time together. My sister and her friend, Ashley, came to visit me last weekend. Bethany and I rearranged our room - which is a big change for us! The semester is looking good so far!
In just a few hours, I'm flying to Amarillo, TX for my friend Linda's wedding! Goodness...so many weddings, I must be getting older. So, I'll have many more pictures and probably a good story or two to tell when I return. Have an awesome weekend everyone!
| Last night we went out to celebrate Elizabeth's 20th birthday with a bunch of girls. We went ice skating at the littlest rink ever, Played around in Christmas decorations in Bentonville's town square, Realized that Sally's keys were locked in her car, and a couple of random strangers helped us get them out, Ate at Market Place Grill in Springdale....we all ate sooo much, And went dancing!
Here's an album of the pictures I took that night
And I've been tagged by 2 people to tell 5 weird things about me, so its time I do it... 5. I really hate dairy products being left out. Like a cup of milk left in the car on a hot day, or a bowl of cereal with just milk right next to the sink. And I always check expiration dates. 4. I have a really bad short term memory. So bad that sometimes someone will answer a question I asked and I won't remember exactly what I asked or even that I asked them. 3. I'm losing some hearing in both ears, so I read lips a lot. So if you're talking to me don't put your hand in front of your mouth. 2. I love movies. One of my favorite things to do is to stay up and watch a movie in by bed, on my laptop. 1. I have way too many black dress shoes (9 I think). But I actually wear all of them, and it's good because most of my friends at JBU have about the same size feet so I can share.
This game has been going on for so long and I'm not sure who all's done it. So I tag whoever reads this and hasn't done it yet.
| This week back from Thanksgiving break has been a lot of homework, but so much fun towards the end of the week. We just got back from Fayetteville, eating at Chick-fil-A mmmmm, and seeing Walk the Line - very good movie. And last night for Late Skate a bunch of us girls and Brandon dressed up as snowflakes / a Winter Wonderland. We were the cutest group out there for sure. I can't believe we just have 2 more weeks left. For a while this semester I felt like I had just gotten here, but now it feels like we've all been here so long, in a good way. I have gotten so much closer to all my girls, and I'll miss them so much over the break. I miss my family and friends back home a lot too. It's just hard to live two different lives. But the great thing is that I'm always excited to go back to Dallas and to come back to school, because I have people I love and a home in both places.
Here's some pictures from my wonderful Thanksgiving break...
For the first time in a while, all of the families on my Mom's side got together in Oklahoma City
I gave my youngest cousin, Caroline, a lot of piggy-back rides
Laura, me, and Wes
We spent a day walking around down town Oklahoma City, and took lots of pictures with statues
Jacob...My biggest pet pieve/weird thing is milk. I love to drink it, but there's a time and a place - and outside is not the place and while I'm present is not the time. Isn't it just gross?!
Who do I look most like? My Dad, Mom, or sister?

Over the break too, on the way out the door to a little party Sylvia gave us for all her bridesmaids, my way-too-cute-for-her-own-good niece wanted to take some pictures and be in some pictures.
Rachel, Ashley, and me
Rachel and me...we've known each other since we were this big...
I think we're about 8 here. I've known her since I was 3, and we're still best friends. We're playing Mad Scientists here
And my niece, Ashley. She lives in Amarillo, Tx now so I don't get to see her too often.
And here's all the bridesmaids after our fancy dinner party Sylvia gave us. I can't believe she's going to be married in just 15 days.
The semester is almost over, so lets make it an awesome, memorable, really fun 2 weeks!
| Tonight we had a pre-Halloween costume party, and Carol, Bethany, Elizabeth, and I dressed up as '80s fitness instructors. We went all out with sweatbands, long fake eyelashes, and the hair. And frugal Bethany even bought some funky star earrings! I don't think we knew we were going much in advance. Bethany and I only had 2 hours notice; just enough time to rush to Walmart and put together some crazy, bright outfits. There was a costume contest, which we didn't win, but the winning costumes were pretty creative. The tie for first went to a guy dressed up as the pink Power Ranger, and 5 girls dressed up as parts to a BLT sandwitch. It was a lot of fun to get all dressed up. I can't believe that people used to actually dress like that.

After we got back from the costume party, everyone had homework except for me. So I made some lemon poppyseed muffins. They were delicious, best thing that ever happened to me. Carol, Bethany, and I had 4 each and ate them all...woops
He're's what we do in Siloam Springs....
I'm not quite sure why there was a big tire by the intramural fields, but hey, why not climb in and take a picture?
| It's been a while, but now I've got some good stuff for my xanga. This weekend was Carol's birthday celebration, and it was great! A bunch of us got all dressed up and went out to eat Friday night at Chili's, then out to do a little dancin. She got all kinds of fun gifts, but the best was a surprise kiss from our waiter. We talked him into it when she was away from the table.

Saturday afternoon I went to Springdale with Carol and her friends to see Elizabethtown. I heard it got some bad reviews but I thought it was really good. On the way back we stopped by Walmart and Carol got a gold fish with big bubbles by his eyes. I'm quite sure on his name; it was Orlando, but it may have changed. And I got another fish too - a little black one. I already had one named Fabrice, but he seemed lonely, so I found him a friend - Paris. They seem to be getting along well so far.
The picture is really blurry (aparently you can't take a good picture through a fishbowl) but it looks like they're kissing. Fabrice always chases Paris around, so we're not sure if he's picking on her or flirting with her.
Saturday evening we ordered a couple pizzas from Erueka's and ate like we have never eaten before. Several girls on our hall and Wes watched a couple chick flicks and gave each other some good massages.
Sunday afternoon Sally, Bethany, Carol, and I went out to take a nap on the quad.

But we didn't end up getting any sleep. Instead we spent an hour or two eating some chips and salsa, having fun with my camera and just playing around outside on one of the last warm days.

Bethany and I got a couple of cute roommate pics.

And we had to ask someone passing by if he wouldn't mind taking a picture of all four of us.

Don't we all look angelic?

No explanation for this one...

Linda and Tim came to join us for some lovely, graceful ballet dancing...

I captured some good video of it all too. Tim, Sally, and Carol worked on a little routine of fancy leaps and twirls. Good blackmail. In all it was a really great weekend!
Tonight we won our flag football game. We're undefeated and will be going to the state championships in a couple weekends. Yay Kali Dada....we want to rumble!
